Fixus B.V. is a company specialised in the development and production of innovative external fixation systems.

An External Fixator is a device worn outside the body to fixate a fractured bone.

This device, which we called Fixus, is connected to the bone with pins. The pins pass through the skin to connect the Fixus to the bone. For finger and hand fractures two pins can be used on either side of the fracture to hold the bone parts in place.
In case of fractures of the leg or fore arm four pins can be used on either side of the fracture to hold the bone parts in place.

The Fixus system calls on a refinded combination of Rigidity, Simplicity, Flexibility, Cost Effectiveness and Controlled Dynamic Joint Movement.
